Hard to kill he is.

  1. Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.
I had a few good 'landings' on dirt bikes. Good times.

  2. Now they would take the kid to the ER for a full set of head X-Rays and probably recommend a Ritalin prescription to curb these tendencies. Back then you would go home at the end of the day. When your parents asked you what happened you would tell them I fell off my bike and that would be the end of it.

    1. Been there, done that, multiple times.
They would call CPS on the parents in a heart beat these days for a tenth of the shit we used to do.
I ain't kidding, we used to run wild when we were kids. It was nothing to be ten miles from home on our bikes, clear the hell and gone back up in the woods or riding alongside traffic across a mile long bridge, nine miles from home, just to go into town for a few hours. As long as we were back for dinner everybody in the neighborhood, including my parents, were glad we weren't around.
We were absolute hellions and notorious for miles around.

    1. Amen to that brother. I almost feel sorry for the little snowflakes they are raising these days. They have no idea what they are missing out on.
