Mine did didn't yours?

I learned how to address an envelope write a check fill out job applications etc etc etc

Everyday shit.

I also learned the way they caught you smoking was the smell.

I never could figure how my parents always knew when I was smoking.

Their average of catching my other shenanagins was 5% or less.

Then a teacher divulged this info to me.

Some peoples kid amirite.

Overall my schooling was solid but I went to like 6 different schools in six different states.

Not easy but what is.

The breaking point for me was between 8th and 9th grade.

We all had to take some test for something.

Then when I show up for freshman year I'm enrolled in AP math science world history the whole nine yards even goddam english.

I protested this vigorously to no satisfaction.

This is when my rebelliousness and heightened cynicism about authority began in earnest.

And you know what not one motherfucker has ever axed to see my diploma.

I do wish I had paid more attention to converting fractions.

I can do em but it's not ingrained in my brain like it should be.

It's like 3 way switches.

The knowledge is there just needs a jumpstart from the internet.

The good news is I aced my GED.

That is all.
