This is the "Woodpecker"

 

Chernobyl was built mainly to power this.

It was built as a see over the horizon radar.

It never really worked as intended..

The size of that waveguide is unreal.

I would have liked to see the radio rooms and power setup.

These things interest me cuz my first paying job was on a MCI waveguide crew.
