Sigh another concerned voter type person.
As Americans begin to file their taxes, many people are taking to
Twitter to express confusion over their lower-than-expected tax refunds.
Some of them are getting a worse surprise: They owe money to the
Internal Revenue Service.
"Your tax plan screwed over my
middle-class family," one woman wrote to President Donald Trump. "My
$3,500 refund from last year is now $7. I'm a nurse and work so hard,
and you stole from me."
According to the IRS, the average refund is down 8.4 percent compared to last year.
The
reality, of course, is a little more nuanced. However, the optics might
prove to be a challenge for the president's reelection campaign.
Typical self important chick shit.
Interest free loans to the government are better than having a savings account.
Personally I don't save or pay income taxes but that's just me.
She didn't notice the extra cash in her check every week I'm guessing.
I'm pretty sure it is close to $3400 or thereabouts every thing being equal year to year.
Withholding and direct deposit has the desired effect for sheepherders.
I'd be willing to bet all your refunds or any other scratch you got that she didn't/or ever looked at her FICA or income taxes.
Reason #Eleventy billion the freedom lovers should push for abolishing the withholding of taxes.
Writing that check will make everybody real libertarian about government forthwith.
Sans politicians or the 47%.
A dream is still allowed in Ameikkka right?
By the way I consider myself no class
Middle class another made up government label.
