BTDT. Had to dig my buddy’s Jeep out of a mud hole and tow it home. He caught a log that bent the fan and it carved a hole in the radiator. It died in the middle of the mud run. Not fun.
I used to be the "Could ya get out and lock the hubs for me?, "Monkey" back in the 70's. It was kinda expected from the driver if you personally didn't own a 4x4. I can imagine the conversation just before the pic was taken- "F you, you get out and do it". Compromise.
