Toddler hospitalized after shootoout at Dallas gas station
DALLAS - A toddler is in the hospital after being shot during a fight outside a Dallas gas station.
It happened around 11 p.m. Monday at the Shell gas station near Interstate 45 and Illinois Avenue in East Oak Cliff.
Dallas police said the child’s father and another man got into a fight. The other man fired into the father’s truck.
There were three young children inside the vehicle, including the victim. She was shot in the neck.
You wouldn't catch a stray bullet at the Fuel City taco stand from a previous post from this location.
But nevertheless it is in the same stray bullet zone.
They should be studying the feasibility of a tall non-scalable barrier type structure to encompass Oak Cliff.
Limited egress and ingress options are a particular concern and deserve the utmost attention..
A transitory quarantine if you will.
