I think I will culturally appropriate an old time Proof Positive Sunday tradition

I usually don't culturally appropriate anybody's shit well except ExTexans apparently.

OK the first in the series is on the spot as to current events.

Considering a pipeline is being held hostage.

The internet of things will kill us all.

Here is Connections with James Burke Part 1 "The Trigger Effect

It's 42 degrees right now

42 fucking degrees.

I wonder what the forecast was.

May 2021 temperature outlook warmer than average conditions anticipated

Notable changes have been made to the May temperature forecast across the Lower 48, although a very warm May is still expected.

Temperatures will be the greatest above average in parts of the Midwest, South and East, instead of the Plains and Four Corners region, compared to the outlook issued earlier in April.

Parts of the West, particularly the Northwest, are the areas of the contiguous U.S. that may trend near to slightly cooler than average.

The best and the brightest only play is it's always warmer.

They play with the numbers and still a giant miss.

It's gonna take a lot of heat quick to bring those avg temps up.

Or maybe they will just do what they always do.

Throw numbers at a computer until the numbers say what the commies want them to say.

The avg low temp for my area in May is 55 degrees I looked.

If we've had a morning over 55 I missed it.

It's fucking cold in Alabama.

Good thing I ain't relying on my garden this year.

That is all you global warming deniers.

How do you really spell FBI/CIA/NSA and the other myriad "Intelligence" agencies

Gestapo Kamerad

Although the Gestapo is generally associated with SS Leader Heinrich Himmler, it was actually founded by Hermann Göring in April 1933.

Upon becoming Chancellor of Germany, Adolf Hitler had appointed Göring as Minister of the Interior for the State of Prussia, Germany's biggest and most important state, which controlled two thirds of the country, including the capital, Berlin, and the big industrial centers. As Minister of the Interior, Göring thereby had control of the police.

The first thing he did was to prohibit regular uniformed police from interfering with Nazi Brownshirts out in the streets. This meant that innocent German citizens had no one to turn to as they were being beaten up by rowdy young storm troopers drunk with their newfound power and quite often drunk on beer. These young Nazi toughs took full advantage of police leniency to loot shops at will and terrorize Jews or anyone else unfortunate enough to be caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sounds familiar in the cities police will quit/be forced to not police.

Then here come the feds enforcing every goddam rule that has ever been made or better yet a pre-enforcement of yet unthought of rules just in case.

A national divorce is now the only way there won't be blood.

democrats will never let it happen.

It will end bad for them.

It always does for commies.

They forgot whiskey the most important thing that sugar gives us

No sugar no whiskey that would be a sad set of circumstances.

The illustrated history of how sugar conquered the world

If you want to understand Western history, you have to understand sugar. And vice versa. Because sugar’s not just something sweet: over the centuries it’s been a medicine, a spice, a symbol of royalty, and an instrument of disease, addiction, and oppression.

Here’s a selective highlight reel of just how sugar has shaped our world, from India to Hawaii and everywhere in between.

Sugar is not the enemy.

Eating it all day is.

Much like salt.

The only thing that bothered me was no mention of Arab/Persian/Indian/African/Muslim slavery stuff in the white guilt section of the story.

Believe me they did shit that would've had the Belgians say that's too much.

That don't fit the narrative now does it.

They always tell ya with what they don't say.

They must think I'm as dumb as Joe Biden.

Ok soapbox off continue on!

Speaking of honey the ladies seem to be doing well.

Now do the Blue Bellys

Camp Douglas anyone?

Civil War atrocity:The Andersonville prison camp

Of the 45,000 Union soldiers who’d been held at Andersonville Confederate prison during the American Civil War, 13,000 died. During the worst months, 100 men died each day from malnutrition, exposure to the elements, and communicable disease.
Restoring unity in America after the Civil War was never going to be easy. Too many Americans felt they could never forgive wrongs committed by the enemy during the conflict. Southerners could point to the destruction wrought by General Sherman’s army on its destructive march through Georgia and South Carolina. And Northerners could point to Andersonville.
This Confederate prisoner-of-war camp, which opened 150 years ago this week, was built in southeast Georgia to hold the Union prisoners who could no longer fit into Virginia’s prison camps.

The winners write history.
Always plenty of atrocities to go around.
Some you don't hear about.
Funny that, huh?
